Many different doctors, therapists, and researchers have found their way to this work and they all came up with different words to describe this type of pain.   There have been many discussions of what to call this but people tend to use their favorite.  I use neruoplastic because it describes it well without getting overly complicated,

Neuroplastic Pain, Neurogenic Pain, Bio-Psycho-Social Pain, Mind-Body Pain, Psychophysiologic disorder (PPD), Tension Myositis Syndrome(TMS), Neuro Circuit, Primary Pain, Functional Neurologic Disorder, Convergent Disorder, Somatic Symptom Disorder,  Central Sensitization.

The research about neuroplastic pain is only 20 years old.  Many in the health field are still not aware of the new research.  Many mind-focused therapists  consider this issue a body problem , while whole body-focused therapists consider it a mind-based problem.  As the mind and body are completely integrated, we have to address both mind and body to be effective.

Sessions are conducted with an invitation to a "meeting" using Zoom.  It is possible to accept this "meeting" with your phone, computer, or tablet.
